Eurmes is a project developed and run by its owner as a natural person. It is not currently provided through a company.
Eurmes is an online language-learning and cultural-integration platform.
The platform lets you create an account, access educational content, complete exercises, practise pronunciation with your microphone and save your learning progress. It has no social or community features today.
Part of the teaching material is generated or adapted with the help of artificial intelligence systems, and part of the audio is synthetic speech.
Eurmes is currently in a development, testing and continuous improvement stage.
Some features may evolve, be modified, suspended, limited or removed temporarily or permanently.
The owner will seek to keep the platform available, secure and functional, but does not guarantee that all features will be available without interruption or free from errors.
To create an account and use the registered features of Eurmes, you must be at least 18 years old.
By using the platform, you declare that:
- you have sufficient legal capacity to accept these terms;
- you are at least 18 years old;
- the information you provide is true, current and complete;
- you will use the platform lawfully, responsibly and respectfully;
- you will not use Eurmes for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent purposes or purposes contrary to these terms.
This service is for people 18 and older. When creating an account, we ask for the date of birth and verify the minimum age is met before completing registration.
Eurmes is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. If the owner detects that an account belongs to a minor without sufficient legal basis, the owner may deactivate it and take reasonable measures to delete the associated information.
An account is required to access the learning features.
The user must take reasonable measures to protect their access credentials and must not share them with third parties.
The user undertakes to report without delay any unauthorised access to their account of which they become aware.
The owner may suspend, limit or cancel accounts in the cases set out later in these terms.
Eurmes must be used exclusively for lawful purposes and in accordance with its purpose: language learning and cultural integration.
The user undertakes to use the platform responsibly and in a manner compatible with good faith, the law and the rights of third parties.
It is prohibited to use Eurmes to:
- infringe laws, third-party rights or these Terms and Conditions;
- impersonate another person, create fake accounts or falsify identity or the information provided;
- upload, transmit or distribute viruses, malware, harmful code or any element that may affect the operation of the platform;
- interfere with, overload, damage, disable or alter the platform, its servers, networks, systems or security measures;
- attempt to access accounts, systems, data or restricted areas without authorisation;
- circumvent technical measures, access limits, security systems or usage controls;
- copy, decompile, reverse engineer, modify or attempt to obtain the source code of the platform, except where the law permits it;
- carry out systematic extraction or unauthorised reuse of Eurmes content, data or materials by automated means, including its use to train models or develop competing services, except where the law permits it;
- sell, transfer, assign or commercialise user accounts;
- use the platform for unauthorised commercial purposes;
- enter sensitive or confidential data, or third-party data without authorisation, particularly into the artificial intelligence features;
- use the artificial intelligence features to generate unlawful, harmful, discriminatory, misleading or abusive content, or content infringing third-party rights.
The user retains any rights they may hold over the content they enter into Eurmes, such as their profile, their working texts or the instructions they write into the artificial intelligence features. Use of the platform does not imply the assignment of those rights to the owner.
The user is responsible for the content they enter and warrants that they hold the necessary rights over it and that it infringes neither third-party rights nor applicable law.
The owner processes that content only to the extent technically indispensable to deliver the service within the user’s account, and does not use it to train artificial intelligence models.
Eurmes has no features today that allow content to be published visibly to other users. Should they come to exist, the applicable terms will be published before they are switched on.
The content, designs, interfaces, databases, software, teaching materials, distinctive signs and other elements belonging to Eurmes are protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property law.
Access to or use of Eurmes does not grant the user any ownership rights over that content.
The user is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use the platform in accordance with its purpose, for the duration of their account and provided these terms are complied with.
The reproduction, distribution, transformation, public communication, extraction, reuse or commercial exploitation of that content without the owner’s prior written authorisation is prohibited, except in cases permitted by law.
The educational, linguistic and cultural content of Eurmes is intended for learning and guidance.
Although the owner endeavours to make it useful and of good quality, it is not guaranteed to be always complete, up to date, free from errors or suited to each user’s specific needs.
The content does not constitute an official certification of language proficiency, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Part of the Eurmes teaching material is generated or adapted with the help of language models, and part of the lesson audio is synthetic speech.
Pronunciation exercises may require voice processing through recognition services; the corresponding processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
Artificially generated audio is identified as such in the player itself.
The user acknowledges that content generated or assisted by artificial intelligence may contain errors, inaccuracies, biases or technical limitations, and that it is intended for educational guidance.
The user must not enter sensitive data, confidential information or third-party data without authorisation into these features.
Using the artificial intelligence features to generate, request or distribute unlawful, discriminatory, offensive, misleading or harmful content, or content infringing third-party rights, is prohibited.
No decision with legal or similarly significant effects on the user is taken automatically.
The owner will seek to keep Eurmes available and functioning properly, but does not guarantee continuous availability, absence of errors, uninterrupted operation or compatibility with all devices, browsers or systems.
The platform may experience interruptions, errors, maintenance, updates, technical problems, temporary limitations or functional changes.
The owner may modify, update, suspend, limit or remove Eurmes features when deemed necessary, especially for technical, legal, security, service-improvement or project-evolution reasons.
Nothing in these terms obliges the owner to maintain indefinitely a specific feature, a particular version of the platform or the service as a whole.
To the extent permitted by law, the owner shall not be liable for damage arising from:
- improper use of Eurmes by the user;
- breach of these terms by the user;
- content published by users;
- acts of third parties;
- technical errors not attributable to the owner;
- interruptions, outages or lack of service availability;
- data loss caused by third parties, force majeure or circumstances beyond the owner's reasonable control;
- decisions made by the user based exclusively on educational, cultural, linguistic or artificial-intelligence-generated content.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes rights that legally correspond to consumers and users or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable regulations.
The user shall be responsible for:
- the use they make of Eurmes;
- the content they enter into the platform;
- the accuracy and currency of the information they provide;
- protecting their access credentials with due diligence;
- complying with the law, third-party rights and these terms.
Where the user's breach causes damage, claims, penalties, costs or liabilities to the owner or to third parties, the user shall be liable to the extent permitted by law.
This provision does not affect the mandatory rights of consumers and users.
The owner may suspend, limit or cancel a user’s access to Eurmes where there are reasonable grounds of:
- material breach of these terms;
- unlawful, abusive or fraudulent activity;
- risk to the security of the platform;
- infringement of third-party rights;
- unauthorised automated use;
- identity impersonation;
- a request from a competent authority;
- other uses that create a reasonable risk to the platform, its users or third parties.
The owner will inform the user of the reason for the suspension or cancellation where appropriate, except where doing so is legally prohibited or could compromise security, an ongoing investigation or third-party rights.
The user may request deletion of their account by writing to hola@eurmes.eu .
Deleting the account ends the relationship governed by these terms.
The processing of personal data after deletion, including its retention where legally necessary, is governed by the Privacy Policy.
The processing of users' personal data is governed by the Eurmes Privacy Policy.
By using the platform, the user acknowledges having been informed of that policy and of the rights that correspond to them in relation to data protection.
Inside the platform, technical cookies necessary for its operation are used, and certain preferences are stored locally in the browser. The public site works without cookies, and no advertising cookies or third-party analytics are used.
The up-to-date detail is in the Cookie Policy.
Eurmes may include links, integrations or references to third-party websites, platforms, tools or services.
The owner does not control and is not responsible for the content, policies, operation, availability, security or practices of such third parties.
Access to or use of third-party services is at the user's own responsibility and may be subject to their own terms and policies.
The owner may send by electronic means the communications necessary in relation to the account, security, the operation of the service and the contractual relationship, including email and notices within the platform.
Where the law permits, these communications shall satisfy any written-form requirement.
The owner may amend these Terms and Conditions to adapt them to legal, technical, functional or organisational changes, or to the evolution of the service.
The version in force will be the one published on this page, with its version number and date. Changes are recorded in the legal changelog.
Where changes are material, the user will be informed with reasonable notice. Where the nature of the change or applicable law requires fresh acceptance, it will be requested expressly.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Spanish law.
When the user has consumer status, nothing stated herein shall limit rights they may have under applicable consumer regulations or their access to the courts that may legally correspond to them.
In the event of a dispute, the parties will first try to resolve it amicably by writing to the contact email address.
If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the courts and tribunals with jurisdiction under applicable law.
These Terms and Conditions, together with the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the legal framework applicable to the use of the platform.
The owner’s failure to exercise a right or power shall not constitute a waiver of it.
If any provision of these terms is held void, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be construed or limited to the extent necessary for it to be valid and, if that is not possible, it shall be deemed not included without affecting the rest.
For any query, incident, claim or communication related to these Terms and Conditions, you can contact the owner through the following email address:
